πŸ“’ ADJUSTED LEVEL 3 REGULATIONS

Following the announcement by πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ President Ramaphosa on Monday evening, CyclingSA can confirm that 🚫 no cycling events shall be permitted to take place until 15 January 2021.

As a result of the adjusted regulations, all sanctioning certificates of events planned for this period have been rescinded with immediate effect.

πŸ‘‰ Cyclists are able to continue training but not in groups.
πŸ‘‰ Training is now restricted to between the hours of 05:00 and 21:00 daily.
πŸ‘‰ Masks are not required when exercising vigorously, but cyclists must keep a distance of 1,5m away from any other person. A mask needs to be worn at all other times.

We will refrain from making any decisions about the πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ National Championships planned for February 2021 until we receive further notice from the government.

😷 We encourage the cycling community to adhere to the regulations, practice the usual Covid protocols, maintain social distancing, and be responsible.
